The XCMG ZL50GN 5-ton wheel loader is equipped with a well-matched electronically controlled diesel engine that meets China National Stage III / Tier 3 non-road emission standards. The power unit adopts high-precision electronic common rail fuel injection technology, which can intelligently adjust fuel injection quantity and timing according to real-time load changes during shoveling and loading. When the machine idles without operation for more than 3 seconds, the auto-idle energy-saving program automatically lowers engine speed to cut unnecessary fuel consumption. Compared with traditional mechanical fuel injection loaders of the same tonnage, its comprehensive fuel consumption can be reduced by 10%–16% under continuous full-load working conditions, which effectively lowers the daily fuel operating cost for sand yards, mines and mixing stations.
The engine is equipped with an oversized integrated composite radiator, which integrates independent heat dissipation channels for engine cooling water and hydraulic oil. Even under long-hour continuous heavy loading in high-temperature summer, open-air dusty mines and unventilated mixing plant yards, the radiator can keep the engine and hydraulic system at a constant optimal operating temperature, completely avoiding power attenuation, cylinder pulling and component aging caused by high-temperature overheating. The air intake system is fitted with a two-stage heavy-duty dry air filter with automatic dust exhaust function, which can block fine sand, coal ash, rock dust and construction floating dust from various working sites. It greatly reduces abrasive wear on engine cylinders, pistons and fuel injectors, extends the major overhaul cycle of the engine, and avoids frequent maintenance shutdowns caused by dust intake.
This engine does not require complex urea exhaust post-processing devices to meet emission standards, so users do not need to regularly add urea liquid during operation. It has strong compatibility with fuel quality and can stably burn medium and low-purity diesel commonly used in remote mountain mines, rural sand yards and overseas construction sites, without frequent filter clogging and power drop. All core moving parts inside the engine are forged with high-strength alloy materials and pass thousands of hours of full-load durability testing off the production line, ensuring stable and continuous power output in long-term harsh working environments.
