The Carrier Roller, also known as Top Roller or Upper Roller, is mounted above the track frame of the Komatsu PC60-7 crawler excavator.

Its primary function is to support the upper track chain and maintain proper track alignment during travelling. It helps reduce friction between the moving track chain and undercarriage frame, contributing to smoother travelling and longer undercarriage service life.
