AM388 backhoe loader is a multi-functional wheeled construction machine. With the integrated design of front loader and rear excavator, one unit can replace both loader and excavator, effectively cutting procurement and operating costs. It is a mainstream machine for overseas small-scale construction, municipal engineering and agricultural work.
The total machine weight is 7.5 tons. With compact transport dimensions (7600×2380×2890mm), 2250mm wheelbase and 300mm minimum ground clearance, it delivers outstanding performance on rough roads. Two 75KW China Stage 2 engines (Cummins 4BT3.9-C100 / Yuchai) are optional, featuring sufficient power and stable fuel consumption to meet emission standards of multiple countries. The transmission system adopts YJ280 single-stage three-element torque converter and fixed shaft power shift gearbox (2 forward gears & 2 reverse gears). Matched with FEICHENG YUNYU double reduction drive axle, it achieves 82KN maximum traction force, 78KN loader breakout force and 58KN excavator digging force, performing excellently under heavy loads.
The working ends are well configured: The front loader has a bucket capacity of 1.35m³, 2800KG rated lifting capacity and 2800mm dumping height. The standard digging depth of rear backhoe is 4100mm, and it can be extended to 5100mm with optional telescopic arm. The backhoe swing angle is 190° for wide working coverage. The 22Mpa high-pressure hydraulic system ensures sensitive response and smooth movements of bucket lifting, lowering and dumping.
The deluxe cab is fitted with heating & cooling air conditioner, LED lights, sliding windows, adjustable rotating seat and LCD dashboard. The hydraulic pilot control brings easy and precise operation. It adopts air-over-oil caliper service brake and mechanical parking brake. Fire extinguisher, window breaker and other safety accessories are equipped for full protection. Key components including tires, outriggers and gearbox are robust and reliable with low failure rate. It can be partially disassembled for container shipment (2 units per 40HC container), convenient for bulk export.
